Technical Requirements
Online DIAG is a software-only platform designed to work with any J2534-compliant Pass-Thru device. The diagnostic capabilities available to you depend on your interface hardware. For full functionality, your Pass-Thru device should support the following protocols as defined in SAE J2534-2:
- CAN Bus: Pin selection on 6&14, 3&11, 3&8, 12&13, 1&9, 7&11 with baud rates 50, 125, 500, and 1000 kBit/s.
- Fault-Tolerant CAN: Pin selection on 1&9 with baud rates 50 and 125 kBit/s.
- Single Wire CAN: Pin 1 at 33.333 kBit/s baud rate.
- K-Line Protocols: ISO9141 and ISO14230 (Keyword 2000) with pin selection on 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15 and baud rates 1200, 4800, 9600, 10400, and 115200 bit/s.
- UART Echo Byte Protocol for legacy vehicle systems.
